在拍攝現場的大廳，愉悅的氣氛充斥著整個空間，侯佩岑一身寬鬆的灰色厚針織高領毛衣，搭配今年流行的白色鱷魚皮壓紋皮裙，腳踩著一雙中跟過膝麂皮灰色長靴，如同陽光般絢爛的笑容與大家打招呼，甜美的聲音及語調，瞬間緩和了大家忙碌的節奏，動人的個性與外表都令人為之聳動。

While we were preparing for the cover shoot at Hotel Mvsa, the space was filled with delightful atmosphere. Patty Hou entered the hotel wearing a gray oversized heavy turtleneck knitted sweater paired with outfits of the year, a white crocodile leather print skirt. She was wearing a pair of gray heel over-the-knee suede boots, her style is chic and petite. She greeted people with a smile like a ray of sunshine. Her sweet voice and tone brightened up the room, as her exclusive personalities and her stylish look, are truly something to be fond of.

此時此刻的她

步入婚姻生活的侯佩岑，外表沒有太的改變，心裡有許多不同的體悟，身為一位妻子，候佩岑認為她與老公代表著一個team（團隊），在每一個階段攜手溝通，有著彼此的生命中，一起成長並更認識自己與對方，就像是工作或是人生一樣，一路要一直學習，婚姻對她來說是兩個人不斷利益求精的習題。而身為兩位可愛兒子的母親，當被問起成為母親後的改變，被愛填滿的心讓她笑著說：「我覺得人生已經很滿足了，那種滿足感很難形容，好像所謂的無慾無求，我現在真的很感恩很滿足了。」 越是平凡的生活，越是能感受到幸福的時刻，在兩位兒子Ethan跟Ian入睡前的故事時間及睡著的可愛模樣，是從嬰兒時期就開始的習慣，也是她每天最期待且最珍惜的時光，侯佩岑以卓越的主持風格、如月亮彎著的雙眼、感化人心的甜美笑容帶給觀眾幸福與正能量，回到家中被看似平淡卻難得的幸福填滿了自己。

無窮的正能量

身為主持人的侯佩岑，採訪過各行各業的人，聊到生命中影響最深的人，她心懷感恩地說：「我很幸運的是有機會接觸到很多很多各行各業不同的人，有機會坐下來跟他們聊天訪問的過程中，我覺得每一個人，不管人生是怎麼樣，我們經歷是有限的，可是通過那麼一點點的時間，如果對方願意跟你分享一些事情，曾跟我坐下來聊天的每一個人身上，我都可以獲得到不一樣的知識跟給予。每一個訪問的機會，每一個共事的機會，我都覺得我還再吸收還再學習，不會說某一個人對我影響很深。我覺得每一次都會讓我有影響。」不斷定人事物的侯佩岑，對於世界的好奇心決定了她如孩童般天真的笑容，她也散發著如陽光般溫暖的自信及正能量，身為公眾人物的她，不管是在螢光幕前或是私底下，總是保有美麗與自信，為此她分享她正能量的秘密，也表示出她希望為社會帶來正面的影響：「我只希望有正能量，我們都會遇到挫折與不開心的事情，或許是我自己的個性比較樂觀的人，我覺得怎麼樣都可以找到太陽，我希望我能傳達很多正面的能量，一定會好的，我們一定會看到光亮的。」

渲染笑容的自信

成為一位母親之後，就領取一張雙重身分證，在孩子出生後時時需要你，當時的世界彷彿只有你跟他，而經歷的這個時期之後，媽媽們會忘記「照顧」自己，不管是透過工作或是做一件自己非常喜歡的事情，侯佩岑覺得是必要的，身為母親都會面臨孩子長大後，每個階段性的成長與改變，這時媽媽也要在生活上取得一個平衡，侯佩岑說：「因為工作是我喜歡做的事情，有些媽媽喜歡烹飪、閱讀、園藝，只要做一件你很喜歡做的事情，不要放棄『自己』，我覺得那很重要。工作為我來說像是放鬆，可以專注在自己的小時刻。」工作時的侯佩岑，盡情地擺出不同的角度，與攝影師之間的默契，讓工作團隊嘆為觀止，這樣的魅力如粉紅色的光彩，渲染著每一個人的心，她認為要成為一位自信美麗的女人，是愉悅的，不管是見面也好，或是一起工作也好，都希望能散發出高興快樂的氛圍，即便一點點也好，那對侯佩岑來說很重要，為此她希望能讓身邊的人覺得自己很美很好，不管跟誰相處，不只會喜歡她，也開始喜歡上自己。侯佩岑將拍攝的每一套衣服，都穿出自己的風格，身為一個女生都不禁對每一次的拍攝都感到怦然心跳，看著她自在且專業的表情與儀態，都被她甜美又帥氣的氣質感染，在訪談的過程中，我問她是如何散發出如此自信的美，她說：「我覺得我對自己很不放過的人，我覺得那樣子的時候，就不是完全的美麗，真心的喜歡自己，不要挑剔的時候，那時候對自己滿意，就可以散發出很舒服的美。」

甜美帥氣的混搭

甜美的侯佩岑總能駕馭不同的混搭風，當帥氣風格的衣服配上女人味的高跟鞋，這種衝突的美感是侯佩岑最喜歡的穿搭風格，佩戴配飾的話，她不是喜歡小而美的細緻外型，就是偌大又有形的風格配飾，比較沒有中庸風格路線，反差的搭配就像是她甜美又堅強的心，不一致性的穿搭風格，也為此證實侯佩岑樂觀積極的人生觀，在每件事情上皆能看見不一樣的美。與母親感情非常好的侯佩岑，兩人時常互送時尚配件，最近剛收到一些媽媽年輕時穿戴的皮帶，每一件皮帶都保養得很好，只有少許的皮帶因為台灣氣候的關係有些歲月的痕跡，但為此侯佩岑全然不介意，具有意義且復古的皮帶，正是符合衝突美感穿搭的重要角色，也令她愛不釋手。另外在兩位兒子的時尚風格，身為媽媽的她，總是會低調的配上兄弟裝，外套或鞋子可能會一樣，但衣服上總是默默搭配成一個色系，兩雙小小的腳走在一起，正是她現在幸福生活的樂趣之一。

Patty’s Current Stage in Life

After Patty Hou got married, there are no signs of changes by looking at her. However, when talking to her, I can strongly feel that she changed positively and dramatically inside. Being a wife, Patty thinks she and her husband in on the same team, through different stages of life, it is inevitable to constantly learning from each other, or to communicate with each other. As time goes by, they have become more mature together and understand themselves better than ever. Same as working or living, we should never stop learning. Marriage is a life lesson that couples are taught to be better. On the other hand, being a mother of two lovely sons, with the changes in life, she embraced by love and said, “I’m satisfied with my life at the moment. It’s hard to describe the feeling, but it is like I’m having no desires or wishes. I’m truly grateful and satisfied.” The more you enjoy the little things in life, the more you can feel the happiness surround you. Since Ethan and Ian were born, storytelling before bedtime has always been a tradition to Patty. Spending quality time while watching them falling asleep is Patty’s most expected and precious moment. From being a show host, to laughing with the crescent moon shaped eye curves, as well as her sweet smile, she always brings out the happiness and positive energy to the audience. As work ended and Patty returns home, her family is the simple yet precious key that completes her thoroughly.

The Secret to Her Positive Energy

Being a show host, Patty Hou has interviewed multiple respondents working in different industries. When I asked her about the person who influenced her the most, she said it with gratitude, “I’m very lucky that I have the opportunities to get in touch with people working in different industries. I am grateful to have the time to sit and interview them. I think every person, no matter what background, the experiences we have are limited. However, through the very little time, if he or she is willing to share with you, then you can received different knowledge and gifts from different perspectives. Each interview opportunity, each chance to work together, I’m strongly eager to learn more from others, and I will never stop learning. Though I can’t say which person who influenced me the most, I believe each interaction with each respondent from work makes me who I am.” Patty Hou who never judge her surroundings that her curiosity about the world gives her the radiant smile and passion. Being a public figure, Patty’s confidence and positive energy no matter in front of the screen or in private, she is always upbeat. During the interview, she shared her secret of having positive energy is that she is motivated and hoping to bring the society positive influence, “I always pray to have positive energy. We all have to face frustration and deal with difficulties in life, but maybe I was born to be optimist. I always believe that eventually the sun will follow wherever we go. I always tell myself that it will be fine, and we definitely see the light at the end (of all difficulties).”

Her Contagious Confidence

After becoming a mother, Patty officially own two identities. She mentioned when babies are born, they need constant care. Spending 24-hour together, every day, It’s like the world is just you and the baby. After going through the stage, mothers usually forget how to “take care” of themselves. It is important for moms to work nor find a hobby of their own. Patty Hou thinks it is important for mothers to spend more quality time with herself as the kids grow up. Every stage of changes, mothers are welcomed to adjust more time to herself, too; that to find a balance in life. Patty Hou said, “I love working, some mothers like cooking, reading, or gardening. As long as you do something you like, don’t give up on being yourself, that’s something I think is important. Working is relaxation to me. It is when I can focus on my little moments.” During the cover shooting with Patty, her instincts to catch up the rhythm quickly with the photographer, the teamwork created a series of extraordinary images. Her glamor is contagious and influential. She hopes to become a confident and beautiful woman, a happy woman that we believe she already is. She hopes to create a pleasant work atmosphere, by complementing or greetings, even just a little can really bring out the best in others. Therefore, she hopes to make people around to find their own beauty and uniqueness. She hopes that as long as being with her, people would not only like her but also truly like themselves. Patty looked tremendous in different outfits for photo shooting. Being a woman, each photo shooting makes her excited and enjoy the process. When looking at her in front of camera, we can feel her sweet and marvelous personalities through the photos. During the interview, I asked her how held the beauty of confidence she is having, she said, “I think when I was picky about myself, I don’t feel truly confident; but when I sincerely love every bit of myself and let go of the criticism I had for myself, I can really bring out the best of me and I believed that is the secret of being the most confident.”

Sweet and Marvelous Ways to Match Clothing

Patty can always dominate different clothing and outfits. When chic style of clothes pairing with a pair of feminine high heels, the beauty of conflicts really gets Patty Hou. Just like styling accessories, Patty likes either small and beautiful shapes or large ones with special features, it is never just one complete style. The striking ways to match clothing is like her sweet but strong heart. Inconsistency in her fashion is the evidence showing Patty Hou’s optimistic in life that she always finds beauty in everything. Having a close relationship with her mother, Patty and her mother often give each other fashion accessories presents for different occasions. Recently, she received some of the vintage belts from her mother, which her mother used to wear when she was young. Most of the belts remain in good condition, only a few ones can find some trace of time due to the humid weather in Taiwan. However, Patty doesn’t mind it at all, the belts is significant and meant a lot to her. It also creates the conflicts in the ways of matching clothes, she loves the belts very much. Furthermore, she shared that she like to dress up her two sons, she usually style them with same coats or shoes, but most of the time is just two kids with different styles but in the same color tone. Looking at two pairs of small feet walking together is now one of her pleasures in everyday life.
