以現代視角詮釋過往迪斯可黃金時代的迷人魅力，各種色彩的交錯結合，經過線條與形狀的碰撞完美釋放，相互襯托的效果，讓今季包款也能充滿復古的未來主義。手繪的溫度激發靈感與想法的美感詮釋，Kim Jones 從 FENDI 品牌典藏檔案中發掘出時尚插畫師 Antonio Lopez 為品牌手繪的 logo 圖案，借鑒藝術家的自由感性與54俱樂部的氛圍環境，成為本季系列設計發想的起點。
Look at British singer Dua Lipa and supermodel Bella Hadid’s Y2K-inspired looks—from the high saturated colors, low-waisted tights and miniskirts, futuristic fabrics of specially-made materials, this season’s spotlight is most definitely the return of Y2K. The 2022 Super Bowl halftime show was perhaps the most anticipated one for hip-pop fans worldwide. As 50 Cent made his surprise appearance on stage, it was as if we had taken a time machine back to the year 2000. Inspired by the 2000 pop culture, Y2K is emblematic of a time where the internet and computer programming were in development. With the same sense of excitement, our aspirations for a Utopian world also echoes with the voices of millennials. Let the high-saturated accessories lead the way and mark the exhilarating opening of this upcoming spring and summer season.
The Technicolor Millennium
As if the comeback of ’70s and ’80s weren’t enough, the Y2K trend of the ’90s became Gen Z’s home court. From sunny yellow, bright orange, navy blue, pea green to the berry colors—the Disco palette of vibrant, high-saturated colors explodes like a kaleidoscope. In the SS22 collection, this combination of contrasting color not only can be seen on clothing, but also on accessories, creating an exciting game of addition. The use of large blocks of bright colors catches the gaze, frees the spirit and demonstrates energy, vibrancy and passion. It is time to express ourselves with color and absolute confidence!

Always assertive, the Y2K style often calls for the glittering sequins that immediately place us under the spotlight. The female protagonist always needs the vividly metallic shine to highlight her luxuriously rebellious nature. Like a shooting star soaring through the starry night, the vibrant colors embellish the outfits. “Sequins will never go out of fashion.” With each and every angle an expression of hedonism, the self is liberated and rejuvenated.

The Blooming Patterns
A modern reinterpretation of Golden Age glamor, the interplay of colors is perfectly redefined through lines and shapes, allowing this season’s handbags to be filled with retro-futurism. Inspired by the warmth of hand-painting, Kim Jones digs deep into Fendi’s archive and pays tribute to legendary illustrator Antonio Lopez. To convey the sense of unbridled joy, he channels the artist’s carefree nature that reached its peak on the Studio 54 dance floor, which became the origin of this season’s collection.
