近年致力於公益慈善，懷著感恩溫暖的心回饋故鄉，極具深度與廣度的身體力行，再再體現了羅志祥飲水思源的柔軟心。「人到了谷底，往哪走都是向上。」輕鬆玩笑般的話語，道出了他深刻於心的有感而發，於混沌中沈潛蟄伏，於光亮間靜待良機，如今，便是重生盛放之時。

/公益耕耘

前兩年贊助花蓮世界展望會成立烘焙坊，讓遭受家暴的單親媽媽得以自給自足，更促進親子間的情感互動；今年年底，羅志祥擔任秧悦美地度假酒店的有機小農大使，親臨現場支持並力挺花蓮小農，不遺餘力的勤奮身影令人為之欽佩。談起邇來重返花蓮的心境轉折，他笑說是一種熟悉的自在感，不論是返家探望阿嬤、練習高爾夫球、親朋好友結婚等，冥冥之中彷若緣份牽引，一切美好皆於此發跡。

參與如此眾多公益活動，羅志祥感概表示每一場皆讓他難以忘懷，「因為關注的事件都不太一樣，每一個背後充滿了很多扎心的、難受的、想替他們鼓勵的故事，我為他們付出的東西都是很深刻，也很值得的。」

而羅志祥與母親的好感情令人稱羨，不論出國工作、放假遊玩皆會帶著母親同行，也經常能在社群上望見逗趣合影，悄然印證百善孝為先之德。對此，羅志祥笑答這是自 iPhone 4 開始所養成的一個習慣，「我常跟很多的年輕人聊，現在的科技很方便，手機可以隨時隨地拍照，但你的相簿裡有多少是跟家人的合照？」如今手機相簿裡充斥著羅媽媽與寵物 Yuki，殷切捕捉當下的歡愉時刻，張張流露的真摯情感更顯動人。

/潮流如一

身處白雲蒼狗的世代，如何遊走於變與不變的平衡木——回歸初衷，答案或許便能了然於心，亦如日新月異的時尚圈，對羅志祥而言，最經典的 Icon 非「木村拓哉」莫屬，「一直不變，永遠的神，不管誰再出現，他就是無法超越。因為經歷他當紅的時候，所接觸的事物一直到現在都沒有退流行，我覺得很酷，帶領了我們很多。」

方今挺拔西裝儼然成為現代男性衣櫥裡必備的單品，羅志祥則特別鍾愛中規中矩和寬鬆痞痞風，笑說這趟去日本竟首次買了西裝，是從未想過的生活驚喜。談及私底下的穿搭細節，他透露冬天習慣以一個品牌貫穿全身，風格統一是相當重要的準則。

嗜愛潮流之餘，羅志祥家中也收藏了不少珍稀作品，「像公仔我收藏到現在，二十多年都沒有變，還有我喜愛的球鞋，從早期那個年代到現在，我依然很中意，即便去球鞋店，我第一個看的鞋子還是一樣。」歷經排隊搶購的黃金年代，深刻心頭的青春記憶難以抹滅。而前兩年歷經疫情，他表示有不少人開始玩起露營、塊根植物等靜潮流，笑說自己也悄悄愛上塊根植物的魅力，從起初養殖至悉心照料的過程，逐漸看見塊莖成長、葉子枯萎，靜待下一季的盛放，春暖花開的繽紛光景著實療癒。

/多方演藝

前陣子甫結束高雄跟美國大西洋城巡迴演唱會，尤其高雄開場時的跌倒事件，讓羅志祥意外發現自己的忍痛能耐很強，笑說右腳脛骨連撞兩次，依舊控制表情、持續表演的毅力，如今憶起仍不可思議。關於來日的巡迴計畫，實則藏了巧思與寄望於台北演唱會周邊 T-shirt 之中，「T-shirt 後面放了很多演唱會的地點，我寫了一句話『Only In Dreams.』，原本是做一個好玩的效果，可是裡面有幾個真的實現了，也覺得蠻開心。」

近期泰國正風靡一股「冬瓜」熱潮，妹妹朱碧石琅琅上口的〈買冬瓜〉和〈你幹嘛〉引起廣大迴響，羅志祥進一步透露未來會再出新單曲，不僅擔憂妹妹的歌出得比自己還快，更笑說某天或許能望見朱碧石入圍金曲獎的盛況。

音樂之餘，羅志祥正如火如荼錄製實境節目《TOP DOG》，節目中選擇了虎斑浪浪，更自認是「兄弟型」的主人，提起一開始的互動，他表示浪浪相當怕生，對人有非常大的恐懼，為了讓牠放下戒心，羅志祥全心花了三天時間依偎陪伴，「我想讓牠知道這三個月是由我來守護你，讓牠了解我的氣味、感受我的溫度，還有你看我的眼神、我看你的眼神。」幾晚照料下，縱使放開繩索，浪浪仍緊繞在守護者羅志祥身旁，放下一切隔閡的真情互動，不僅讓旁觀者讚嘆連連，也顯現了他極富耐心的柔軟內在。

/昂首向前

簇新一年到來，放下昨日種種，以寬闊胸懷迎接未知的驚喜與驚險，為羅志祥對 2023年的無比期待。當問及如何不糾結困境，尋得自我生命出口，他緩緩道出「不要因為任何一件不好的事一直打轉，越打轉事情越大，會讓你的心情更走不出來，持續往前看往前走，那才是未來你該面對的。」更透露社群上總有不少私訊他的人，來自不同個性，部分會分享車子、心情或帶有憂鬱症，羅志祥皆會與他們對話進而開導，期盼能盡一份棉薄之力，使他們再次對人生充滿希望，「方法一定有，只是看他要不要做，但我不希望用離開人世間這個方式來解決問題，我會每天這樣跟他聊。不管是憂鬱症或是遇到困難的，我都會長期讓他們覺得就算你沒有朋友，你還有我這樣的一個角色。」固定回覆二十至三十封的私訊，也成為了他每日的必行功課。

對於未來展望，羅志祥坦言如今沒有必達成的夢想清單，「因為願望越許越多，失望越大，乾脆不要許。」如醒世般的實際發言，體現了他不受桎梏侷限的自由思想，依舊喜歡化繁為簡，依舊習慣身負重任，而破繭重生後的燦爛光芒，伴隨一抹熟成氣韻，冉冉照耀著世界，持獨有節奏為人們捎來陣陣溫煦。

Devoting to charity by giving back to his hometown, Show Lo and his philanthropic efforts become a testament to the saying, action speaks louder than words. “Once you hit rock bottom, the only way to go is up.” His light-hearted but earnest words speak to the feelings hidden deep in his heart. As he stayed dormant amidst the chaos and waited for the right opportunity to come into the light, the time of rebirth has finally arrived. 

/Philanthropic Cultivation 

Two years ago, Lo sponsored World Vision Hualien to open up a bakery to help single mothers who are victims of domestic violence. It provided them an opportunity to become self-sufficient financially and improve the emotional interaction within families. This year, as the ambassador of organic products for Gaeavilla Resort, he revisits Hualien to show support for local farmers despite the long commute. From visiting his grandma, practicing golf, to attending weddings, his constant trips to Hualien always make him feel at ease. It is as if fate had led him back to his hometown, where all the good things happened, after everything that had occurred. Lo also points out that every single charity event was unforgettable to him. “Despite all the different causes, each comes with a story that is heartfelt and in need of encouragement. It felt like the efforts I put in are significant and worthwhile.” Known for having a close relationship with his mother, Lo often takes her on business trips and vacations abroad and documents them with funny pictures and videos on his social media platforms. Laughing, he says it’s a habit that he developed ever since he got an iPhone 4. “I always ask the younger generation, with the advanced technology we have in hand, how many photos in your album are actually taken with your family?” With his photo album filled with pictures of his mother and his pet, Yuki, Lo continues to capture the joyful moments in life with earnest sincerity, showcasing the touching emotions behind each and every portrait.  

/Some Things Never Change 

In this era of fast change, how exactly do we find the balance between conversion and stability? Perhaps the answer lies in where it all started. Within the fashion industry, which is known for its ever-changing nature, Takuya Kimura is an icon Lo admires. “He has always been the same, like a god who just can’t be surpassed. I think it’s cool the way he influenced us and how the trends associated with him are still popular.” Nowadays, the formal suit has become a necessity in every man’s closet. While Lo is particularly fond of the moderate, oversized style, he is surprised that he bought a suit for the first time during his trip to Japan. Outside of work, he finds unity to be an important rule he follows and tries to wear the same brand from head to toe during the winter season. Besides trendy clothing, Lo is also enthusiastic about collectibles. “I have been collecting figurines for over 20 years now. And also sneakers, which I’ve been buying since early years. Even till now, whenever I step into the store, the first pair of sneakers that catches my attention is always the same style.” Having experienced the golden era where people lined up for sneakers, he finds the memory hard to forget. In the wake of the pandemic, activities such as camping and taking care of caudex plants slowly gained popularity. Smiling, Lo admits that he was captivated by caudex as well and gradually fell in love with it. From the initial purchase, seeing it grow then wither, to waiting patiently for its next bloom, the cycle of life all magically happening in that tiny pot is a scene that heals the heart. 

/A Well-Rounded Celebrity 

Lo had just finished his Kaohsiung and Atlantic City tour and the incident where he fell on stage made him realize he had a rather high tolerance for pain. He finds it amazing how he was able to control his expression and continue his performance despite having hit his right tibia twice. In terms of future tours, Lo says the T-shirts sold at the concerts are actually filled with hidden ingenuity and aspirations. “On the back of the shirt you’ll see a lot of different concert locations with the phrase ‘Only In Dreams’ written along with them. It was meant as a joke at first, but I’m happy some of it actually came true.” Meanwhile, in Thailand, a craze for winter melons is on the rise because of Lo’s alter ego, Beauty Lo, and her two popular singles, “Buy Winter Melon” and “What’s Wrong.” With more songs on the way, Lo is actually worried that she will be releasing tracks faster than he does and even jokingly says we might one day see her getting nominated for the Golden Melody Award. Besides music, Lo is also starring in a new reality show, TOP DOG, in which he chose a Brindle stray, Simba, as his partner. At first, Simba was very timid and afraid of humans. In order to let Simba’s guard down, Lo spent three whole days with him. “I wanted to let him know that I will be here for him for three months, so I want him to become familiar with my scent, my body temperature and the way I look at him.” After a few days, even after loosening the leash, Simba still chose to stay by his side. Having overcome all barriers, the heartfelt interaction between the two has never ceased to amaze the people around them and becomes a proof of Lo’s patience and inner tenderness. 

/Striving Forward 

With a new year right around the corner, Lo is prepared to let go of his past and welcome the future with an open mind. For him, finding the exit is the only way to not dwell on dilemmas. “Don’t get caught up in your head when something bad happens. The more you dwell on it, the worse you will feel. Set your vision on the road ahead because that is the future you need to face.” On social media, Lo often receives a lot of private messages from people from different backgrounds. From inquiries about cars, their emotions to struggles with mental health, he tries to offer them guidance in the hopes of making some contributions and helping them find faith in life. “There is always a way, it just depends on whether they want to do it or not. But leaving the world should not be the solution. Whether they are struggling with depression or something else, I always try to remind them that, even when it feels like they don’t have any friends, I’m still here for them.” With this in mind, he makes it a daily routine to respond to 20 to 30 messages each day. As for future aspirations, Lo doesn’t really have a wish list he wants to fulfill. “Because once you start making more wishes, the bigger the disappointment. So it’s better not to wish for anything.” No longer confined by conventions, he continues to focus on simple matters and sees the world through a more realistic lens. Like breaking out of a cocoon, Lo now shines with this newfound maturity that brings warmth to the world and the people around him.
