Joyful and Lively
This month, streets are dressed in colorful lights as we welcome both Christmas and the upcoming new year. The round Christmas lights remind us of CARTIER’s Ballon Blue de Cartier, a collection introduced in 2007 as a tribute to the historic moment in 1783 when the first hot air balloon flight was taken. This collection is therefore visually inspired by the shape of a balloon, with the watch’s front and back boasting rounded curves, creating a classic timepiece. In recent years, this collection has expanded its range in case sizes, including: 28 mm, 33 mm, 36 mm, 40 mm, and 42 mm. Majestic Appearance
The IWC Pilot’s Watch Collection boasts a sporty style, with the Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar and the Pilot Chronograph 41 as the main characters; the green rubber strap makes it a well-suited choice for outdoor enthusiasts, and the vibrant, green dial emphasizes a connection to nature. The Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar is 46.2 mm in diameter and features a perpetual calendar developed by former chief watchmaker Kurt Klaus. This program can accurately display the date, day, month, and year for up to 577 years, including leap years. Following the recent trend of rich, green watch dials, ROLEX introduced a new model of the Perpetual Day-Date 36 timepiece featuring a green aventurine dial, and crafted from their exclusive 18K Everose gold, a material known for its durability and enduring beauty. Traditional rose gold may lose its luster over time due to external factors; therefore, ROLEX adds approximately 2% of platinum in order to preserve the radiance of the watch, much like the secret to a long-lasting relationship. Paired with this 36 mm diamond-set watch is the 40 mm 18K yellow gold Day-Date 40 Watch which also boasts a green dial. Both watches feature a distinctive curved window at the 12 o’clock position, displaying the full spelling of the day of the week.
