難得放晴的明媚午後，遠離塵囂都市，這次我們來到了自帶幽靜的天母，綠意蔥蘢的愜意街道，透過偌大落地窗的照射，將碧草如茵與和煦陽光毫不費力地延攬至室內，一幢乘載著半世紀歷史的石造洋房，歷經十個月的靈感激盪，蛻變為瀰漫人文氣息的生活場域，「我希望大家都可以走進來看看。」語帶雀躍的丁春霆，期望在這廣達百坪的「丁丁藝術空間」，與新舊世代下碰撞出無限花火，延綿不絕的創意能量正於此孕育。

A sunny afternoon, away from the hustle and bustle, we came to the tranquil neighborhood—Tianmu, streets covered by lush greenery, the green grass and the warm sunshine were effortlessly extended indoors through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, a stone house with history of half a century, after ten months of getting inspired, was transformed into a livable area filled with humane atmosphere. “I hope everyone can come by and take a look.” Johnny Ting, speaks with excitement, expects to collide with the old and new generations with sparks in this “Ting Ting art space”, which is spacious that has 100 square meters.

虛懷若谷
擁有多重身份的丁春霆，不僅身為成億壁紙特助、路易十三干邑台灣區顧問，帶領丁丁藝術空間團隊參展，平日更是一名藝術家兼收藏家。看似繁忙的斜槓人生，他謙虛笑答其實自己沒有很斜，「我的斜桿都是 Lifestyle，方便我去整合，相對這三個事業的對象，也會是另外產業的對象。」當斜桿成為一種等號，望見客人臉上的喜悅，對丁春霆來說，便是最具成就感的時刻，尤其看見父親丁三光臉上的笑容，更是種備受肯定的欣喜之情。丁春霆更分享職場上，懂得「放下身段」與不同族群對話，也是相當關鍵的一環，舉例過往曾花了半年時間與工地師傅溝通，起初從不會講台語到陪買檳榔的熟練口氣，再再體現了他不服輸的性格，「從各行各業去學到、看到的不同角度，再去學會面對每一件事情。」漫漫道路上，「學習」，永遠是刻不容緩的人生課題，更是支撐丁春霆持續走下去的一大動力。

翫味藝術
近幾年台灣興起不少藝術博覽會，如飯店型博覽、世貿會館等形式展出，作為一名新興藝術單位的代表，丁春霆期望往後能有更好的展演空間與辦理方式，其關鍵便在於藝廊協會與政府單位的支持，未來他則希望畫廊先進與政府單位能一同舉辦講座，讓更多人深入了解十年後藝術於台灣的發展，而非只是空談。談起丁丁藝術空間中最喜歡的創作者，丁春霆隨即回答法國藝術家 Jisbar，擅用高彩度與現下時事結合，繽紛中藏著隱約的諷刺與自由意象，不僅極富翫味，也相當貼近自身心境，「很多人看到藝術，投射了很多東西在裡面，會看見很多曾經或現在擁有的東西在裡頭，而有所共鳴，這就是藝術很好玩的地方。」當藝術如空氣般融入生活，輕如鴻毛，不留痕跡地留下歲月軌跡，吸吐之間，身為觀者的我們也早已成為畫中的一部分。

求好精神
朱自清的〈背影〉傾訴著父親對子女的關愛之情，而對丁春霆而言，馬不停蹄的高大身影，是他心目中難以忘懷的父親印象。自軍人退伍的丁三光，從小便給予丁春霆「把每件事做好」的觀念，根深蒂固的求好精神，同樣映照於他對人事物的處理原則，「每個人都有處理事情的方式，但我是很在意結果，我要看到這個東西有成效。」直到近幾年心境上有所轉變，讓他開始用更怡然自得的方式面對，與父親的相處也逐漸變得從容自適，「現在可以坐下來輕鬆的喝一點，他很貼心，會去幫我買無酒精的啤酒，用朋友的方式並肩聊一聊。」訪談當中，丁春霆也透露因參與父親的朋友聚會，使他從小便擁有更多增廣見聞的機會，對此他也十足感謝與珍惜。「先自己開始做，別人看到才會這麼做。」如此正體現了丁春霆對於人生的正向態度，小至運動大至事業，他將持續以自己的方式去感染身邊每個人，爽朗笑聲迴盪於畫作間，外頭的陽光也似乎愈加燦爛。

Modesty
Johnny Ting, who has multiple identities, is not only the special assistant of Rotex wallcoverings and the consultant of Louis XIII Cognac in Taiwan, leading the team of Ting Ting art space to participate several exhibitions, but also is an artist and artwork collector. Seemingly living a busy life of a multitasker, he humbly smiled and denied, said “My multitasks are all about lifestyle, which is convenient for me to integrate. The objects of these three businesses will also be the objects of other industries.” When multitasking becomes the sign of equal, seeing the joy on guests’ faces is the most fulfilling moment for Johnny, especially the one on his father Sanguang Ting’s face, which is the kind in affirmation. Johnny also shared that knowing how to humble himself and communicate with different groups of people are also very critical during work. For instance, he used to spend half a year communicating with the foreman of construction team, he was not able to speak Taiwanese at the beginning but after getting veteran, he even accompanied them to buy betel nuts which reflects his unyielding character. “Learn from all different fields and see things in different perspectives in order to know how to face everything.” Learning has always been a lifetime topic and it is what motivates Johnny to have come so far.

Playfulness of Art  
In recent years, there are a lot of art exhibitions in Taiwan, such as expo in hotel room or World Trade Center, exhibitions in many forms. Representing an art space, Johnny hopes to have better space for exhibition and better methods of management in the future. The key is the support of gallery associations and government. In the future, he hopes that galleries and government can do some workshops together within this decade, for the purpose of letting more people understand the development of art in Taiwan instead of just putting them in words. Talking about his favorite artist in Ting Ting art space, Johnny immediately named the French artist Jisbar, who is good at combining high chromaticity with current affairs. There are vague sarcasm and liberal images in the colorfulness. “A lot of people view art and project a lot of things in it, will see things that they once or now own in it and find it resonant. This is why art is very interesting.” When art is blended into daily life, as viewers, we become a part of it. 

Pursuit of The Good
Ziqing Zhu’s “Retreating Figure” expresses the father’s love for his child, and for Johnny Ting, the  unforgettable impression of his father is that tall figure that never stopped going forward. Sanguang Ting, who was discharged from the military, gave Johnny Ting the notion of “doing everything well” since he was a child, and his deep-rooted spirit of pursuing the good is also reflected in his principles of dealing with people and things, “Everyone has a way of dealing with things, but I care very much about the results, and I want to see things working out.” Not until his mindset has changed in recent years did he begin to face it in a more easygoing way, and his relationship with his father gradually became at ease too. “Now we can sit down and have a drink together without pressure, he is a thoughtful person who buys me non-alcoholic beer and have chitchats with me like a friend.” During the interview, Johnny also revealed that gathering with his father’s friends broadens his horizon since childhood which he appreciates a lot. “Start doing from yourself then people would start doing it as well.” This reflects Johnny’s positive attitude towards life, he will continue to infect people around him in his own way. With his laughter echoed, the sun outdoor seemed to shine brighter.
