今年秋冬之際最火紅的專有名詞無疑是「美拉德」，其源於食物在烹飪時所產生出的化學反應為「美拉德反應」（Maillard Reaction），有許多食品如肉類、麵包或巧克力等，都會在此過程中「焦糖化」並逐漸地變成吸引人的褐色、棕色、紅色調，而這種化學現象也被應用於穿搭、妝容甚至是居家生活上，這不僅讓人們在秋冬微涼的天氣，感受到一股暖意，更彰顯出內斂慵懶卻不失高雅的品味態度。
The trending term this autumn and winter is none other than “Maillard”. This term originates from the chemical reaction that occurs when cooking, known as the “Maillard Reaction”. This chemical reaction happens to many foods such as meat, bread and chocolate where they “caramelize” and gradually reveal appealing shades of tan, brown, and red. This chemical response is also found in fashion, makeup, and even during daily life. This not only provides a sense of warmth and coziness during the chilly autumn and winter seasons, but also presents a reserved, laid-back, yet elegant attitude towards taste.

美拉德風尚 The Maillard Trend
隨著季節轉換改變居家氛圍，進而創造出私人又獨特的個人空間，想必是許多生活風格愛好者最擅長與喜愛的事情之一，尤其今年秋冬興起的美拉德風更可以體現在多層面的空間佈置上，其中如色彩的應用，就包括了可以選擇深棕色的皮革沙發、深紅色的地毯；或是為家具引入自然元素，像是利用實木家具以及植物的擺設，為空間在秋冬帶來一股生機；另外善用暖色調的照明、異材質拼接等家飾混搭，也會是創造出美拉德風的好選擇。
