Growing up in a household where melodies were as commonplace as conversation, Eileen’s life has always been steeped in sound. From majoring in mathematics at UCLA to earning her MBA at NTU, from carrying the unspoken expectations of a star-born identity to becoming the narrator of her own songs, she has turned songwriting into a compass—one that helps her reconcile illusion and reality, dream and wakefulness, memory and meaning.

“My dad always emphasized the chorus,” she muses, “but I’m more interested in how an emotion gradually unfolds.”

Inheriting her father’s musical DNA, she chooses not to replicate it, but to write at her own rhythm. In working with industry veterans like George Chen and David Ke, Eileen approaches the studio like a student—eager, open, and grounded. Through these collaborations, she has begun to define a creative posture that is uniquely hers. Passion, once an instinctive spark, has gradually crystallized into intention. Her father’s advice remains her anchor:
“Don’t overthink it. If you’re going to do it, then keep doing it”
